In Hikvision Access Control Produkten wurde eine kritische Pufferüberlauf-Schwachstelle (CVE-2025-66176) mit einem CVSS-Score von 8.8 entdeckt. Ein Angreifer im selben lokalen Netzwerk könnte diese Lücke ausnutzen, um die betroffenen Geräte zum Absturz zu bringen, indem er speziell präparierte Pakete an ungepatcht Systeme sendet. Hikvision hat bereits ein Sicherheitsupdate veröffentlicht, um diese Schwachstelle zu schließen.
There is a Stack overflow Vulnerability in the device Search and Discovery feature of Hikvision Access Control Products. If exploited, an attacker on the same local area network (LAN) could cause the device to malfunction by sending specially crafted packets to an unpatched device.
